Many of our clients are Canada’s leading private and public sector employers who rely on us to provide their employees with state-of the-art tools to support their health care benefit plans. We are searching for an experienced account manager who is familiar with the insurance industry including third party administration of prescription drug claims. You will be required to service the needs of our clients in a number of key result areas:

Retain and grow the existing client base through the enhancement and promotion of additional prescription drug benefit programs.

Act as the client liaison by providing educational and training seminars to employee benefits staff at our client companies so they become the in-house experts in electronic drug claim processing systems and protocols.

Build on existing client relationships by providing knowledgeable and credible information on trends in the pharmaceutical industry.

Assume a key role on the national sales and marketing team to promote core and enhanced services including input to key communication pieces and administration guidelines.

You are a high profile, dynamic customer service and sales leader with 5-10 years experience in service, sales or marketing, preferably in the insurance or pharmaceutical industry. Your background will include experience both servicing and developing new business by introducing new or enhanced drug benefit programs. Ideally, you have a background in the operations and provision of state-of-the-art pharmaceutical and drug claims processing business functionalities. Qualifications include a university degree in business, finance or technology. Experience developing and sustaining business relationships with key customers and decision makers at the senior level is required. You must have a track record of developing and implementing strategic service and selling principles for your team.

You should have a good understanding of the Canadian Health Care Delivery System and Regulatory issues on pharmaceutical practice in Canada. It would be an asset if you have previously sold into the hospital/institutional sector or the pharmacy chain network. Likewise, it would be an asset to have good contacts and relationships with key decision makers as you will be required to influence their selection of pharmacy benefit managers.

 As a seasoned marketer you must have solid skills in promotion/communications, branding, pricing and distribution. As well, you must have experience in consulting with operations people as a technical advisor and as an internal strategic partner. You must have the ability to translate the technological needs of your clients into deliverable solutions that meet their requirements.

Experience in financial and/or insurance industries is preferred. Bilingualism is an asset but not mandatory. The position will be located in Toronto or Vancouver and will require travel of about 25% across Canada depending on the residency of the most appropriate candidate our client selects.

We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to lead Portfolio strategy for a new entrant into the Canadian generics market.  Experience with injectabiles is required.  This position will work closely with the Global marketing team to isolate and develop a successful product portfolio for the Canadian market.  Ideally, you have a strong financial forecasting background in order to forecast the assigned product portfolio for the annual budget and quarterly estimates process.

The incumbent will have strong Marketing Strategy and Product life cycle management experience in order to develop robust and thorough market penetration strategies.  Analyzing external environments, market trends and customer behavior to guide demand planning and provide inputs to Supply Chain for supply planning is an important aspect of this role. 

Pricing knowledge and experience is required in order to provide guidance on the product portfolio as it responds to changing market conditions and competitor challenges.   Quarterly reviews will monitor product success and help guide pricing strategy, to maximize market potential.

New Product Planning and launch as well as forecast development, including volumes and financials for new assigned products in order to evaluate each products potential opportunity, is required.  Your strong experience working with Production planning, Supply chain and Regulatory teams in order to create seamless product planning, pricing and launch activities will be called upon.  The incumbent will work closely with Sales teams to develop customer offers and modify marketing campaigns to ensure maximum reach,  coverage and effectiveness.  Product promotions experience is requested; providing guidance on the determination of target audiences, channels and product messaging.

A University Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or Finance plus at least 10 years of experience in a Pharmaceutical Marketing role is required.  An MBA is an asset.

PRODUCT MANAGER, PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY, to $110K, plus bonus, Montreal, Quebec

We are currently seeking an experienced Product Manager in the pharmaceutical industry to help roll out  some world-class blockbuster drugs. We are seeking someone who plans, designs, and manages the entire commercialization plans for the assigned products and related services from conceptual stages throughout the product lifecycle to meet sales, marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Participates in the development of the overall product strategy and roadmap within the Product Management team. Conducts and coordinates customer, market, and competitive research to develop product and market access strategies. Helps in determining product placement opportunities within the hospital and physician market and designs market plans in a cross-functional arrangement with scientific/medical research scientists as appropriate. Plans, schedules, and coordinates all product roll-out tasks for new products and product revisions. Prepares product development objectives and schedules for all phases of product development and introduction to market. Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as research, market access, sales, medical information services, marketing,  operations to develop and provide product definitions and promotional information responsive to customer needs or disease state groups.
